The Outhouse Project
A few weeks ago, I think that I mentioned that I was planning to fix up the outhouse, since I like cute outhouses. I got the idea from the outhouse at the internet place that I usually go to. It was cute, and I knew that since Thah Me likes to draw, he could do a good job for me. So, I went to town and bought white paint, and then tried to find colors for the flowers and vines. All they had was bright yellow, bright blue, and bright red. Roy and I discussed the problem, and we decided that maybe Thah Me could mix the colors together to get the green and the purple that I wanted. So, we bought the paint and came home.I then tried to explain to Thah Me what I wanted. I showed him a flower, and asked him to paint it on to the outhouse. He looked perplexed but enthusiastic. He asked me if that were all the colors I could find, and so I did my best to explain that blue and yellow would make green, and that blue and red should come up with purple. He seemed to understand, so I left him to his own devices and went back to the house. I was pretty busy that day, so I did not get a chance to check up on him until much later. What I saw shocked me. It was not at all what I was expecting to see! Now, I am a little reluctant to write about this at all since my Mom told me that if I start putting pictures of an outhouse on my blog, she might have to distance herself from me a bit. “Lisa? Who’s that? I don’t know any Lisa.” So, it is with great fear and trepidation that I post these pictures, but I am just going to do it anyway! (sorry Mom)
