Work, Work, Work

It has become a challenge to find time to write! My computer is the only usable one that our family has, and it is being used to write evangelistic series, translate bible studies, do unending research, as well as all my correspondence. So, if you are not hearing from me often enough, that is the reason why. At least we are getting our moneys worth our of this computer! This week brought some changes to our family's schedule. Three short term volunteers came, and so Roy handed over his bible class and has become the architect, engineer, and contractor for the new dorms. His workers are the students. I don't know if you have seen the old dorms, but they are built of bamboo and are in terrible condition. Considering that each one holds one hundred students, it is rather imperative that new dorms get built right away before the old ones have a chance to fall down. So, if you check my slide show, you will see day number one of dorm construction...clearing the hillside where the girls dorm will soon stand.I have also had my hands full working on the curriculum for the IMM training. It is important that we plan carefully so that when our students graduate, they will be equipped to go as missionaries to their own people. We want them to have a well rounded education so that they can be a blessing to those they go to minister to.Anyone want to help me? Do you know if there is a simplified version of Messages to Young People, or any other Ellen White books? (I am talking about "Child-like" simple) If you know of any, or want to donate one, please email me as soon as possible. (you can find my email on the contacts page) The monumental task before us is to simplify these materials, and then translate them into the Karen language so that our students can study them.Another thing that I need help with is that I would like to have sponsors for each IMM student. The main purpose would be to support each student by praying daily for them by name, writing encouraging notes from time to time, and possibly donating a small sum monthly for their support. I will try to get a sponsor page with pictures of each student, and the details, just as soon as I can.God is certainly blessing beyond our wildest dreams. There is so much to do before Jesus comes again that we feel a sense of urgency to get the work done. Do you feel it? This world is not getting any better, and we need to work while there is still day, the night is coming when no man can work. So get ready, and lets go get it done!
